RetroDoge

Quick bit of history for anyone just finding us. RetroDoge didn't begin life as RetroDoge. It first launched on BSC back in 2022 under the name 8bitDoge, reaching roughly a $10M cap at its peak. Things didn't stay smooth though, the dev behind it was quietly farming the taxes, and when the community members helping run the project realised what was going on, they took it back themselves, pulling ownership of the X account, the Telegram and the rest straight out of the dev's hands, and rebuilt it into RetroDoge.

The relaunch landed around $600k in a rough market. From there it was brought into the SafeSwap ecosystem, where the chart pushed as high as roughly $54M and holders were looked after and airdropped rather than left with nothing. Things went quiet for a stretch after that, funding got thin, a few people drifted off, and development slowed right down. That's behind us now, things are active again and the work has picked back up.

What we're focused on now is the game itself, a pixel art platformer that's already playable rather than concept art, plus getting everything moved over to Solana. If you've watched a hundred P2E coins launch and die, the skepticism is fair, but this one is easy to check for yourself.
